Role Overview: As a Stores Operative, you will manage the store's environment, ensuring the efficient handling of materials, fluids, equipment, spares, tools, PPE, consumables, and client-provided materials on-site.
Parts Advisor / Parts Stores Operative Key Responsibilities:
Proven experience in a busy parts department.
Materials Issue:
- Understand and fulfill technician requirements promptly.
- Provide courteous and efficient over-the-counter service.
- Respond to telephone inquiries.
- Pick and pack stock orders.
- Generate daily reports.
Goods Inward:
- Receive and log deliveries into the IT system.
- Organise and maintain the goods received quarantine area.
- Safely unload delivery vehicles.
- Operate a company forklift truck.
- Immediately notify suppliers of any damaged goods or short shipments.
Parts Advisor / Parts Stores Operative Skills and Experience Required:
- To be considered for this role you must have at least two years recent Part expereince withinthe Automotive sector- this is an essential requirement
- Experience in a commercial, GSE, or plant machinery parts/stores environment.
- Background in the vehicle maintenance sector.
- Strong focus on customer and service delivery.
- Familiarity with stores procedures and systems, especially in vehicle, plant, or machinery parts environments.
- Valid UK driving licence.

Parts Advisor / Parts Stores Operative Additional Requirements:
- Ability to obtain an airside pass, requiring a criminal record check and 5-year history verification.
Parts Advisor / Parts Stores Operative What's on Offer?
- Starting salary: £28,000- £30,000, increasing to £31,500 after successful completion of the probation period.
- Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, with options for 07:30 - 15:30, 08:00 - 16:00, or 09:00 - 17:00.
