Steel Fixer - Long-Term Project at Gatwick Airport

Location: Gatwick Airport

Start Date: 19th May 2025

Duration: 14 Months

Pay: Competitive CIS Rates

Red Sky Personnel are currently recruiting for experienced Steel Fixers to work on a major infrastructure project at Gatwick Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term scheme with a reputable UK contractor delivering large-scale civil engineering works.

Role Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and bending schedules
• Fixing steel reinforcement bars and mesh to formwork for concrete structures
• Cutting and bending bars to required lengths
• Tying rebar using hand tools
• Supporting formwork operations as required
• Adhering to site safety regulations and procedures

Requirements:

• Valid Blue CSCS Card (Steel Fixer)
• Proven experience on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
• Ability to provide a fully checkable 5-year work history
• Right to work in the UK
• Eligible for a DBS check
• Able to obtain airside pass clearance for Gatwick Airport
