We have an exciting opportunity at our Liverpool Airport for a qualified Vehicle Technician to join our team.

Our client are market leaders within the field of Ground Service Equipment repair and maintenance.

 

Vehicle Technician Role:

This is a varied position where you will play a crucial part in the success of the company by offering your expert mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair equipment, such as towing tractors, aircraft tugs, baggage elevators and a variety of specialist, unique vehicles. The suitable candidate will be mechanically skilled and a good problem solver to effectively maintain on site equipment.

Vehicle Technician -Working Hours:

Monday - Friday 6:30 until 15:00

 

What is on Offer:

£39,975 + over time paid at time and a half

Vehicle Technician- The Person:

      Self-motivated with good organisational skills

Clear understanding of Health and Safety systems

Ability to work under your own initiative

Good team player, willing to listen and take new ideas on board  

 

Vehicle Technician- Qualifications and Experience:

      Experience working on Motor vehicles, Light or Heavy commercial or plant vehicles

City and Guilds certification in Motor Mechanics or equivalent (essential) Level 3

Welding (desirable)

 

Vehicle Technician- You will need to:

      Be able to demonstrate your Right to Work in the UK

Be able to obtain an airside pass which will require you to undergo a criminal record check and 5-year history verification

Hold a valid UK driving licence

Provide certifications for all qualifications
