Job Title: Qualified Site Fitter – Architectural Metalwork & Balustrades (NVQ Blue Card Essential)

Duration: 12 Weeks+
Rate: £160 - £180 per day
Job Overview:
We are looking for experienced and reliable Site Fitters to join our team for immediate work on high-spec architectural metalwork installations. The primary focus will be installing balustrades (balistre) on residential and commercial sites.
This role is strictly for qualified site fitters who hold a valid NVQ Blue Skilled Worker Card.
Key Responsibilities:

Install architectural metalwork, mainly balustrades / balistre, to a high standard

Work from site drawings, plans, and instructions

Accurately measure, drill, fix, and align components on site

Use hand and power tools safely and effectively

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area

Follow all site health & safety rules and wear appropriate PPE

Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades
Requirements:
✅ Proven experience fitting balustrades, handrails, staircases, or similar metalwork
✅ Competent with hand and power tools
✅ Solid understanding of site health & safety practices
✅ NVQ Blue Skilled Worker Card (essential – must have to start)
✅ Physically fit and confident with manual handling
✅ Punctual, reliable, and a positive team player
✅ Able to read and work from basic site drawings
Desirable:

PASMA, IPAF, or Manual Handling certification

Driving licence and own transport
