Red Sky Personnel is recruiting for a Parachute Packer to join a world-class aerospace manufacturer based in Denham. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a team that contributes directly to life-saving equipment used in high-performance military aircraft.
Role Overview:
- Pack parachutes and drogues in accordance with technical specifications
- Draw parts from satellite stores and complete batch records accurately
- Inspect parachutes for flaws and note findings in history sheets
- Prepare and operate presses to compress parachutes/drogues per engineering drawings
- Collaborate with development teams on prototypes and testing methods
Requirements:
- Previous experience in parachute packing is highly desirable
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications
- Background in engineering or manufacturing environments
- Excellent attention to detail and conscientious approach to quality
- A collaborative team player with a responsible work ethic
