Mobile Plant Fitter
Location: Walsall-based, mobile across regional sites
Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role:
Red Sky Personnel is recruiting for a Mobile Plant Fitter on behalf of a leading construction services provider. You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing plant and specialist equipment at customer sites, attending breakdowns, completing scheduled services, and keeping accurate maintenance records.
You’ll work independently and within a wider team, ensuring tools and stock are well-managed, jobs are processed via internal systems, and customer communication is clear and professional.
Key Duties:

Perform service, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical/non-mechanical plant

Attend breakdowns, manage workshop jobs, and complete on-site documentation

Accurately record time, parts, and updates in the system

Manage vehicle stock and raise orders as required

Identify equipment for disposal and suggest improvements

Ensure compliance with HSEQ policies and safe working practices

Support stock checks and suggest process enhancements
Requirements:
✅ Experience as a Plant Fitter/Engineer
✅ Full UK Driving Licence
✅ Computer literate, detail-focused, team-oriented
✅ Great communication and time management
