Contracts Manager (or Project Manager Looking to Progress)

Location: Cork
Salary: Up to €100K + car allowance + excellent benefits

We are partnering with a well-established, industry-leading contractor to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager or a Project Manager looking to progress into a Contracts Manager role for their Cork office. This business delivers high-value construction projects across a mix of sectors, including industrial, pharmaceutical, commercial, and high-end residential.

The Role:

As Contracts Manager, you will take full ownership of 1–2 contracts at a time, managing the entire delivery process from pre-construction to handover. You’ll report directly to the Regional Director and be responsible for ensuring safety, quality, commercial, and programme performance across each project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of projects, overseeing all site activity, teams, and subcontractors

  • Ensure delivery to programme, budget, and safety standards

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders

  • Lead reporting and ensure communication with senior management

  • Maintain a strong on-site presence — this role requires five days a week on site

  • Foster a team-oriented, collaborative site culture

Requirements:

  • Contracts Manager experience or a Project Manager with experience delivering full projects of €30M+ and seeking to move into a Contracts Manager role

  • Strong leadership background, particularly in managing subcontractors (no direct labour used)

  • Approachable and solution-focused personality — someone who leads by example and builds positive relationships

  • Proven track record of managing complex projects through to completion
