Mobile HGV Technician – SOUTH REGION (M4 Corridor including Heathrow, Berkshire, Wiltshire,Gatwick)
Salary: £42,000 – £52,000 (DOE) + Overtime + Company Van + Benefits

Our client, a leading supplier and service provider of specialist Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and Airfield Maintenance Equipment (AME) is expanding its UK operations and seeking a Mobile Service Engineer to join its South Region team. This field-based role is ideally suited to candidates located around the (M4 Corridor including Heathrow, Berkshire, Wiltshire,Gatwick)
This is an exciting opportunity to work with advanced airport service equipment in a hands-on technical role with a company that’s investing in UK growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned maintenance and reactive repairs on airport-based GSE and AME
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
- Conduct calibrations, fire system inspections, and (if certified) LOLER examinations
- Provide technical support and liaise directly with customers
- Ensure compliance with all safety and operational standards
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in repair and maintenance of GSE, HGVs, plant machinery, or materials handling equipment (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Able to provide a 5-year verifiable employment/education history
- Based in the South West

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shifts + overtime
- Typical working hours fall between 07:00 and 18:00, depending on site access and job requirements so flexibility is essential
