We are seeking dedicated Ramp Agents / Baggage Handlers to join our client at Gatwick Airport. You will play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and smooth aircraft turnaround operations.

Ramp Agents are responsible for a range of under-wing services, including guiding aircraft, operating ground equipment, and handling baggage and cargo. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where safety, teamwork, and precision are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out aircraft pre-arrival checks, including stand safety, vehicles, and equipment.

• Supporting aircraft arrival procedures, ensuring correct shutdown and safety processes.

• Managing the offloading of baggage and cargo, following strict safety and handling guidelines.

• Overseeing the loading of baggage and cargo, ensuring compliance with safety and aircraft procedures.

• Conducting pre-departure checks, including aircraft walk-arounds and emergency/reporting procedures.

• Assisting with aircraft start-up, headset, and pushback operations.

• Working to meet deadlines in line with company Precision Time Schedule (PTS) and achieve On-Time Performance (OTP) targets.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team with clear communication in English.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Strong numeracy skills and clear, legible handwriting.

• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions.

• Good understanding of safe lifting techniques.

• Previous experience in a similar aviation or ground handling role.

Requirements

• Clean police background check.

• Full UK driving licence.

• 5-year checkable work history to obtain an airside pass.
